Writing Milestones

Monsters of Venus, the long-anticipated sequel to my 2013 novel Seven Against Mars, has been submitted to the publisher, Wildside Press. My hope is that this book, which I have been working on since last year, will be out sometime in the new year--perhaps not long after my first horror novel, All Souls Day, is published in February by Silver Leaf Books, kicking off a four-book series. So now it's on to start Book 2 of the Big Yuck (I have got to come up with a better name for the horror series) during NaNoWriMo! Happy reading adventures, everyone!

  1. I had to take on a Greater Venusian Medusa ALL BY MYSELF this time. The dang thing was as big as my daddy's prize heifer, Joe Bob, and much more ornery. Read Martin's account to find out how that all turned out!

  2. The Native Venusians speak two languages--the N'Bialy dialect is amazingly similar to Hebrew, while the Malchusseis' tongue is astoundingly similar to Aramaic. Why can't they get along? I hate being mixed up in interplanetary wars!

  3. As Queen of Mars, I must protest the failure of certain persons to file rocket flight plans! People, the space laws are there for a REASON. Are you TRYING to cause an accident?
